At the moment, Astro provides only IPv4 proxies. IPv6 proxies are not available yet.

The term “thread” in this context is equal to a “port”. Every datacenter, residential, or mobile proxy you buy is a dedicated port. At any moment, one port uses a single external IP. This IP can rotate by timer, per connection, or per request, depending on your settings. Order as many proxies as you need to meet your objectives. Other companies may offer low proxy rates for the following reasons:

1. Residential and mobile proxies may be presented with datacenter ones. Check the type on the specialized web pages to ensure.

2. Third-party proxies may be shared, not individual. Shared intermediate IP addresses are slower and may be unavailable or carry potential cybersecurity risks. Astro operates as a trusted proxy website with private proxy ports.

3. Low prices of third-party services may be the result of unethically acquired or obtained IP addresses. These proxies may have issues with accessing targeted web pages or passing IP checks due to their blacklist character. All IPs are rotating, which is suitable for the vast majority of tasks. There are only a very limited number of tasks that actually require a static IP address. For example, when IP-based access control is used. When the proxy is grouped by country, city, or provider, changing the external IP does not affect the work, since the IP of an average mobile or residential user changes several times a day as well.

There is an option to use the “Sticky Session” setting for a short-term fixed IP address. Remember, only a few tasks actually require a static IP address. If you have any doubt, just contact the Astro Support Team.

Yes. You get access to IP addresses identified by ASN as real internet users when you buy residential and mobile proxies. Datacenter proxies are identified as belonging to real servers of data centers in 100+ countries. All IPs are sourced ethically and meet compliance standards, including KYC and AML policies.

A port handles up to 250 TCP connections.

The total Astro proxy pool is constituted from hundreds of smaller IP pools originating from home ISP, mobile carriers, and data centers. A proxy pool is a set of IP addresses belonging to a similar type and geolocation. Only credible online IPs constitute a pool.

Every port (IP:PORT) is a proxy server with a single IP address at a time. It can be changed by timer, with every new connection or every request, or forcefully. Set the configuration when you buy a proxy on Astro trusted proxy website or while using it.

A port (IP:PORT type) is a dynamic proxy server with a rotating external IP address that connects to our node-xx-x.astroproxy.com servers. The rules for changing IP are set at the time of a purchase or later. One port is associated with one external IP address at a time and a single protocol, HTTP(S) or SOCKS5, of your choice.

A port handles up to 250 concurrent TCP connections.

As a trusted proxy website, Astro offers dynamic proxies based on AI-enhanced algorithms. They ensure the uptime of 99.9% typical for proxy industry leaders.

You can change the external IP address every 30 seconds for any port obtained. The IP rotates immediately after the proper command is sent through the web interface or API.

You can access the purchased proxy IP by entering the login and password or from the IP specified in the whitelist. Access parameters are individual for every proxy port.

Each reliable proxy server supports two protocols, SOCKS5 and HTTP(S). You can operate one protocol at once and change it anytime.

Buy as many residential, mobile or datacenter proxies as you need. Tick the needed IP addresses to place them in a separate group. You can combine geo-targeted proxies in custom lists, edit them, rename separate ports or the whole lists for your convenience, and export any proxy list as a .txt file with adjustable settings.

The total number of ports for a purchase is specified when placing an order in a personal Astro account. If it is not possible to add the required number of proxies, please contact the Astro Support Team (Telegram).

You can set a new login and/or password (or enable access via the whitelist of allowed external IPs) during purchase or later in your personal Astro account. Every IP address has its own login and password (or IP-based access), since proxies are individual.

Astro provides individual ports. Our geo-targeted proxies are not shared ones. There is only one user per a single IP port.

Uptime is the availability time of geo-targeted proxies (or other internet devices). It is a period of proxy running without delay or malfunction. The higher the indicator, the better proxies operate. Astro provides the best datacenter proxies, mobile proxies, and residential IPs with 99.9% uptime.

- “Change IP by time” - timer-based rotation from 1 minute;
- rotation by button/link/API;
- “New IP for every request” - per-request mode;
- “Sticky Sessions” - get a fixed IP within one session and disable automatic IP change.

“Sticky Session” means you can keep a short-term fixed IP within one session.
You can select the “Sticky Session” option when adding mobile, residential, or datacenter proxies, which lets you keep the same IP for up to 30 minutes and disable automatic IP rotation.
Keep in mind that only a small number of use cases really need a static IP. If you are unsure whether you do, feel free to contact the Astro Support Team (Telegram).

IPs may change from time to time due to network activity. If you have set the system to change IPs by city, they will rotate within a chosen IP pool. This raises the chance of successful access to the target web platform from the trusted proxy website.

This happened due to a high network activity or the core mechanics of CGNAT technology, if you buy residential, mobile proxies. To avoid IP flagging, assign a separate proxy port for each account. Use geo-targeted proxies with city-level targeting. For mobile proxies both city- and ISP-level targeting are recommended.

Yes, change external IP via API or using web interface by clicking the appropriate button near the selected proxy server.

IP rotates within the geolocated pool specified during the purchase procedure. Our server selects new IP addresses automatically applying the algorithms based on machine learning and AI experts’ experience.

It should be changed using GET requests. Once you finish the job, you’d better use GET/POST and/or API.

Add a residential, mobile, or datacenter proxy in your personal Astro account by the “+ Add port” button. Keep the default setting “Change IP by link” and save the proxy settings. The control link will appear in your account. You can copy it using the “Copy link” button.
Your API key is available in the dashboard, in the API tab.

Our proxies are dynamic. When you connect to any IP, you actually make a connection with our server/port. Its URL is added to the third-party software or browser just once. The external IP address changes as determined by settings or manually, via the HTTP-link URL/API/button in your profile.

Yes, Astro is fully compatible with API methods, including IP rotation. Choose the appropriate tab in the main dashboard menu and apply API (POST/GET) functions to integrate geo-targeted proxies into the third-party software. You can test every API command before implementation. Use the API key specified on the top of the tab.

This mode suits proprietary software developers. Use it only if it really meets your requirements, and you fully understand how it works. Otherwise, accessing target web resources may be problematic. We recommend changing IP by link or by timer. Feel free to contact the Support service for advice, our personnel have extensive data experience and expertise in data quality.

Ports of the trusted proxy website operate independently. If you choose a new IP for every request, each time the geo-targeted proxy appeals to a target site, it will be detected as a new IP address.

The per-request mode is highly specific. It is applied for certain types of web data collection tasks only. Ask for a free proxy trial to check the chosen parameters or consult Astro Support service.

No, Astro proxies cannot be used to access mail servers over IMAP/POP3 (ports 143, 993, 995). We strictly follow AML and KYC compliance standards, and that is why Astro proxies can not be applied for ports 143, 993, 995.

Trust Score shows the reliability of a particular IP address. Based on this, the target web source may deny incoming requests. For example, Google and Facebook do not permit server proxies with a low Trust Score. You can check the score on specialized service sites.

Yes. Astro is 100% compatible with third-party software, including antidetect browsers, headless browsers, automated algorithms for repetitive online tasks based on Java, Python, C#, etc.

WebRTC is a browser setting and is not related to the proxy itself. If you experience issues with WebRTC, you can:
- Disable WebRTC in regular browsers (such as Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
- Use antidetect browsers (for instance, Multilogin, Indigo, Octo Browser, Surfinite, Kameleo, etc.) and change WebRTC in the antidetect browser’s settings.

No, Astro is the enterprise proxy infrastructure for web data collection with IP addresses sourced ethically. We strictly follow AML and KYC compliance standards, and that is why Astro can not be applied for SMTP mailings.

You need to:

1. Buy residential IP with mandatory grouping by city
2. Obtain mobile proxies grouped by carrier and city.

For the best effect, set the IP rotation parameter “by link” or by time interval. The last should be at least 15% larger than the duration of the visit. Create a separate port for each thread. Feel free to ask Support service for advice.

1. The intensity of work. Order a traffic package from 500 Mb per port or account.

Set the change mode by the link. Specify a separate port for each account. Do not forget about the mandatory grouping by city.

Try to make sure that the city and port match the city of "residence", which is indicated inside the account.

2. “Warm up” your account before launching an advertising campaign. Increase the number of friends, subscribe to communities, like posts in the feed, leave comments in friends and groups’ posts.

Ensure that the language, activity, and location of your subscribers match the proxies’ geolocation.

3. Be careful with long-term advertising.

Add several administrators to the page if you are planning a long-term advertising campaign.

To perform data collection or account management on Facebook one needs:

• Residential proxies with obligatory grouping by city
• Mobile proxies grouped by city and provider.

Create a separate port for each account. Use the link option to keep an external IP address while the account is active.

Astro recommends selecting residential proxies with a separate port for each socials’ account and city-level targeting. For mobile proxies, set a particular city and a mobile carrier. Buy residential and mobile proxies as they are the best for performing social media businesses.

Datacenter proxies are less suitable as they are more easily detected via ASN.

Yes, they do. We recommend you to buy residential IPs with city-level targeting, or mobile proxies with city- and ISP-level targeting. This should help you to get the data you need. Please, assign a separate port to each account.

Access to some websites may be limited by the security system. Contact the Astro Support Team (Telegram) to get access individually upon agreement.

Many mobile and residential IPs are blacklisted, including IPs of regular ISP and mobile internet user.
Whoer checks various blacklists, many of which are focused on SMTP traffic. Presence in such lists may affect primarily mailing tasks.
However, Whoer does not guarantee anything. Therefore, you should always test the proxy directly on the target website you are going to work with.

In some cases, you don't need to complete KYC to use Astro proxies.
After registration, your account is in demo mode and has some limitations.
However, some advanced services are not available to the public. If you want access to those, you will be asked to go through a KYC process. This usually takes 3–5 minutes.

Astro is fully compliant with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements.

Yes, Astro is an integral web data gathering infrastructure with real peer-to-peer whitelisted IP addresses. We value the confidentiality of our users and IP providers. We adhere strictly to the KYC and AML guidelines. The disclosure of the proxy data stream is limited to authorized law enforcement agencies, in accordance with legally stipulated procedures

We provide secure solutions for web data collection and management according to KYC and AML ethic principles. The content of any proxy connection can be exposed to law-enforcement authorities only, upon a special request according to the law agreements.

Verification may be rejected for various reasons. For example, if the same person has already been verified on astroproxy.com with another account. To help us confirm your verification, please write to the Astro Support Team (Telegram).

Astro charges for a port fee and traffic fee. The final price depends on your proxy settings (type, pricing plan, etc.). You can always see the exact rate in your personal dashboard by clicking “+ Add port”, selecting the required settings, and hovering over “How the price is formed”.

We recommend using an automatic renewal option. Ensure that your personal account is recharged for the amount of money enough for prolonging the purchased proxy ports for another month.

Note that the port has an expiration date, which varies depending on the plan you have chosen.

- Within the "Prepaid" plan, the proxy works until it runs out of traffic OR the port expires (one month). When you refill your traffic, the port's expiration date is extended for another month, and the old and new traffic amounts are combined.

- Within the "Pay as you go" plan, the ports that haven't had any traffic for more than 45 days will be automatically archived. If an archived port isn't restored within 14 days, the port is permanently deleted. Mind that for "Pay as you go" ports to work, you need to have sufficient funds in your balance. To prevent the port from being archived, make any request through the proxy (make sure that the connection is successful).

We accept payments via e-wallets, crypto, and bank cards. The list of current methods available for buying residential IPs, mobile or datacenter proxies is published in the "Payment" section of the personal dashboard.

When you buy residential IP, mobile or datacenter one, you pay us for creating a new port (a small fee) and for traffic leverage (the bulk of the price). You can choose a traffic package or the “Pay as you go” option.

There is no need to pay separately for accessing new IPs of geo-targeted proxies. Every proxy port has a rotation feature, and external IP changes according to chosen settings without additional fees.

The port may expire by traffic or money in the account, whichever runs out first.

1) “Prepaid traffic” plan:

- You pay in advance for a certain amount of traffic.
- The proxy stays active until you either use up the traffic or the 1-month rental period ends.
- When you top up traffic, the rental period is extended automatically and the remaining and new traffic are added together.
- If a port is moved to the archive, it may not always be possible to restore it. If you delete a port with remaining traffic from Archive, that traffic is lost.

2) “Pay as you go” (PoG) plan:

- You don’t buy traffic in advance. You pay $0.1 when creating a proxy and then for every 10 MB of traffic used.
- At the start of work, your balance must have at least $0.13 per port.
- All PoG ports with no traffic for more than 45 days are automatically moved to the archive. Sending just one request within 45 days extends the period by another 45 days.

Yes. We provide:

It depends on the selected tariff plan:
- In the case of the “Prepaid traffic” plan, if the month ends before you run out of gigabytes, or if you run out of purchased gigabytes before the month ends, you pay for another portion of traffic.
- In the case of the “Pay as you go” traffic plan, when the rental time ends, you pay the rental fee to re-activate the proxy.

It depends on your request. We recommend free trial access to decide on the amount of traffic needed. Contact the Support service for help.

E.g. 3 hours of active work on Facebook with video and photo viewing require about 500 MB.

Any port can be extended after the traffic or rental time expires.
Replenish the Astro account balance, and then click the “Renew port” button.
If an archived port is not restored within 14 days, it is permanently deleted.

We charge for one that turns out bigger. If you have downloaded more data than uploaded, the downloaded traffic will count, and vice versa

It depends on the case. You will understand the required amount of traffic in the process of using it. The minimum order is 100 MB. Any port can be extended after the traffic ends.

Most of the proxy settings can be changed, except for choosing a country or selecting another pricing plan.
For example, you can buy additional traffic, switch between IP rotation modes, change the login and password.

The system automatically selects an IP from any pool available based on the AI-enhanced algorithm. It will be a geo targeted proxy of a selected type. It is full-pledged and can change external IP according to the rule set by you. The country-targeting option will be unavailable.

No, but the US is among countries where our geo-targeted proxies are located. You can select a country, a city, and ISP or mobile carrier if you buy residential and mobile proxies or country/city/ASN in case of purchasing the best datacenter proxies.
